White Rhino VFX Nominated for MTV VMA’s

We’re proud to share that Tate McRae’s “Just Keep Watching”, directed by Bardia Zeinali for F1: The Movie, has been nominated for Best Visual Effects at the MTV Video Music Awards.

Our nomination is more than a nod from the VMAs. It’s proof that our approach works. At White Rhino VFX, we focus on precision, pace, and character, keeping the work seamless so the story and performance always come first.

Behind the Scenes, By Choice

For Just Keep Watching, our role was to enhance the visual rhythm while staying behind the scenes. From clean-up to wire removal, we kept every frame sharp and seamless while preserving the grit, edge, and style that define the piece. The best VFX aren’t there to show off. They’re there to hold the energy exactly where it needs to be.

About F1: The Movie

The film follows Sonny Hayes, played by Brad Pitt, as he returns to the racing world and teams up with rookie driver Joshua Pearce. Shot on real Grand Prix tracks like Silverstone, Spa, and Abu Dhabi, the story combines high-speed competition with the personal stakes behind it. The soundtrack blends Hans Zimmer’s score with tracks from Ed Sheeran, Rosé, and Tate McRae, creating a balance between adrenaline and emotion.

Close-Up

We worked alongside an exceptional team, including production by Anonymous Content, editing by Modern Post, and color by Ethos Studio. Every decision we made supported performance, tone, and the unique attitude of the piece.
